American Apparel Expands Polish Line

Despite a recall of polishes earlier this year, American Apparel is set to release new shades of it’s high-shine lacquers in addition to new two-in-one base and topcoats. Polishes retail for $6 and can be purchased online through American Apparel’s website or in stores. “The first 18 colors of our nail polish line were an experiment. We picked colors that were beautiful and didn’t set out to necessarily match them with anything. For summer, we saw an opportunity not only to add a few new colors, but also to develop some fresh shades that can coordinate with the tones of our new styles,” says Marsha Brady, a creative director for American Apparel.
