Avon Launches Hello Green Tomorrow Initiative

Avon Products recently announced the launch of its global environmental mobilization in more than 65 countries called Hello Green Tomorrow. Its mission is to restore the South American Atlantic Rainforest, making this the first time the company has collaborated on an external environmental issue. Avon will contribute $1 million dollars to The Nature Conservancy to replant 1 million trees in the Atlantic Rainforest in South America. The rainforest is steadily depleting which also destroys it’s ecosystem. The effects of global climate changes, pollution, and cutting down trees negatively affects and impacts human livelihood, wildlife, water and tree preservation. All trees planted through this collaboration will also help support the United Nations Environment Programme Plant for the Planet: Billion Tree Campaign.
